Rotary Friends,
This week’s Rotary Recap will be short and sweet – but it is super important and needs your attention.
We have a goal for this year and this week we can accomplish that goal. The goal is to have 100% giving from all members in our club. Not only is this coming Friday the 38th birthday of our club, it is also National End Polio Day. We are putting the two together to make it Super Special.
1) We would LOVE to see you on Friday. Let’s pack the room. We have an awesome program about the history of our club by Mike Sheets, we are having cake plus we are taking our first full club photo in a lot of years to go in the history books. Even if your attendance has been spotty, this is the week to make your return and enjoy a great day with friends.
2) We REALLY need your help to reach the goal above. Tom Nelson and Kathleen Hutchinson are taking the lead on the challenge. For just a few dollars (no more than $38 per member, and most of us are a lot less), you will be helping eradicate polio plus helping your club reach its goal. Many of you have already made the commitment. If you have not, please contact me, Tom or Kathleen. We will also be reaching out to each member this week that we have not heard from yet. Remember, if we get 100% participation – The club is going to add $380 to the gift and two anonymous donors will add $380 each to the foundation and we, as a club, will have raised $2500ish plus reached a milestone for our club. This can’t happen without your commitment and involvement. If you do not know your number of years, or you need to make your commitment, please contact Tom Nelson, Kathleen Hutchinson, or myself.
Here is the crucial piece – we need to hear from you by 11am on Friday the 24th to make the contribution matches and goal above happen.
Thanks everyone. Make it a great week and I truly hope to see each and every one of you next week for a great day at Rotary – that includes cake!!!
Make it a great week.
