My Rotary Friends. Today’s meeting was awesome. Most of you know Mountain biking and staying fit is near and dear to my heart. Today’s speaker added fuel to my fire.
For those of you who could not make it, here is what you missed.
From 11:20-11:50 we had a meeting about our upcoming Rotary day. We will publishing details for all soon. We really would like 100% participation from our whole club for this new event. For any new, immediate details contact Kathleen Hutchinson.

Mr. Dave Henderer delivered our Rotary Membership moment, REMEMBER EVERYONE – this month is membership month. We have a club goal to have 110 members by 6/30/2015. Bring a guest this month as all guests are free! Share the magic of Rotary with those around you. Our chances to better the world, conquer polio and make our community a better place increase with more members. Lets fill the room next week for our District Governor. Remember, guests are free this month.
Joy reminded us of the importance of helping our schools with school supplies. Watch the Sunday paper for details and refer to Joy’s email from this week with the opportunities. Please bring all supplies to our meeting next week.
Thanks Lu for your awesome Fish auction to benefit Polio. You are amazing. Between you and Rick you raised $250 for freeing the world of Polio. That gets a big thumbs up!!
A special thanks to our guest speaker Mike Ripley and his host (and our club member) Trevor Griesmeyer for the great presentation on the Alsea Falls Mountain Bike Trails. As a reminder – we are riding/hiking the trail tonight as a club. We are leaving Barker Uerlings Insurance at 5:30. Bring your mountain bike and helmet or walking shoes and plan for a great time. For more info on Team Dirt and the new trails visit: http://teamdirt.org
Next week we have a very special speaker – our District Governor Tim Mobley. Do not miss this opportunity to meet a great Rotarian and get caught up on what is happening in our district. PLEASE come early and introduce yourself. Or clubs’s theme this year is “Light up the Rotary Club of Greater Corvallis and Make it Shine” Lets show our district governor our shine!
Remember the following:
Have a great weekend and week!
