Greater Rotary Recap for October 9, 2015

While President Gerry was off celebrating his anniversary with his lovely wife in Eastern Oregon our intrepid incoming President Judy Corwin stepped up and did a fine job opening the meeting, doing an inspirational and leading us in the Pledge.

We had the great pleasure of listening to Brian Augustine’s vocational complete with a terrific slide show and we were witness to the awesome shape he is in. He had an tremendous career with Trader Joe’s prior to becoming a broker for Town & Country Realty in March of this year. He also shared hi great love for his family and how much he enjoys spending time with his nephews.

We had a special presentation from our exchange student from Burgwedel Germany.
Franziska Saal powered through her faulty slide show explaining where she was from, how excited she was to be accepted into the Rotary Student Exchange program and how very different the schooling system is in her home country.

Our illustrious Rotary football predictors gave correct predictions for the outcome of the Beavers game and sadly we also received an incorrect prediction of the outcome of the Oregon Ducks game.
