Rotary helps build a dream for Habitat for Humanity

Members of the Greater Corvallis Rotary Club helped to volunteer on a Habitat for Humanity house. On Saturday, July 23, 10 volunteers from the Rotary Club of Greater Corvallis volunteered their time to help build the newest house for Benton Habitat for Humanity.

The work crew was led by President Michele. The crew worked hard putting in a drain system for the foundation and then covering with rock and dirt. Everybody left with a feeling of satisfaction that comes with a hard days work for a good cause.

The Habitat Day was the first monthly community service event for the new Rotary year.
