One-year-old Savannah Douglas is a miracle baby. She was lucky to be born at children’s hospital in
Portland. She overcame obstacles including a still born twin and heart-flap issues. Today she is the youngest Greater Corvallis Rotarian “wanna-be” with two blue badges. On Oct. 14, District Governor Dave Reece presented Savannah and her mom Stephanie, along with two international exchange students their Paul Harris Awards. All four presentations were special and terrific.
Javiera Martinez of Chile and Miquel Martinez of Spain (no relationship) are international exchange students with Greater Corvallis Rotary. Both attend Corvallis High School and will spend the year with host families from the Corvallis club. They will each tout a Paul Harris Award for their achievement.
